If you love your bedroom but often feel like it’s missing something, you might want to try these little tricks to add a touch of glamour to your space! You’ll spend only a few bucks but achieve great results. Let’s lux it up!
Don’t cheap out on throw pillows
If you’ve ever been in any Sydney 5-star hotel, you know that they take their pillows very seriously and for all the right reasons. There’s something very glamorous about beds overflowing with throw pillows! So, make sure to treat your bed with a few plush throws of different sizes and completely transform your space. Aim for pillows that are a bit on the overstuffed side—they always look more luxurious!

Declutter your nightstand
Most nightstands are a home to a bunch of items: books, smartphone chargers, hand creams, glasses, various tissues from your last cold and your eye drops. But, if you want your bedroom to look luxurious and elegant, you must remove that clutter. Hide it in your drawers and display a few pretty items on a tray.

Invest in a statement piece
Every well-designed room needs a wow element—think a unique bed frame, a gilded mirror or a glam velvet chair. These elements can serve as a centerpiece of the room and make it the focus of the space. However, don’t overdo it! One main focal point per room is all you need! This way, your piece will stand out and get all the attention it deserves.

Boost the lighting
If you still have those outdated boob lights in your bedroom, it’s really time to ditch them for something more modern and elegant. Trendsetters from Australia are all about statement pendant lights or big glam chandeliers that will provide you with ample lighting and a lot of interest. And the best part is that you don’t even have to spend a fortune on your new lighting—there are great pieces for less than $150! Just find an experienced electrician from Sydney to handle the complicated part of installing your new illumination and you’ll be set! Don’t handle electricity if you don’t have previous experience!

Let some sunshine in
There are only a few things in life better than waking up on a Sunday in a cozy bedroom filled with sunlight. So, make sure to let plenty of natural light inside. Open up your windows and curtains! Make sure to replace your old curtains with something very light and airy for that beach house feeling. However, if you’re a night owl and thrive in dark environments, invest in a heavy, silk curtain that will elegantly pool on the floor and make your bedroom cozy and shaded!

Give your hardware a new life
If you can only afford a few tiny changes to your bedroom, make sure to set aside some money for new hardware. Your pulls and handles might be small details, but they can do big things to your bedroom. Ditch your cheap and worn out hardware and replace it with something more glamorous like copper, crystal or even gemstones!

Green up the space
Probably the quickest way to add some style to your bedroom is to add some greenery. A simple snake plant or a peace lily can turn your bedroom from average to classy in the blink of an eye. You can go large and fill up that empty corner with a big potted fern or get an array of local Aussie plants and place them on your dresser. Hanging greenery like spider plants also looks very beautiful and adds great interest to your space. Additionally, plants will also clean out your air and freshen up your space with clean oxygen!

These luxurious updates will not break your bank, but they will definitely break that boring and cheap look of your bedroom. So, get on with redecorating and keep these tricks in mind!
